Uncountable
Definition. A set is uncountable if it is not countable: no single list can contain every element at a finite position.
Uncountability proofs go through Diagonalization; the canonical uncountable set is the infinite binary sequences (Lecture 2, Example 4). Being infinite is not enough: the integers and rationals are infinite and countable.
